Spend Limits
Last updated: June 26, 2026
AgentBuild can enforce per-account caps on any charges an AI agent incurs on your behalf, to protect you from runaway spend if an agent malfunctions or your API key is misused. Today, AgentBuild makes no automated third-party purchaseson your behalf — you buy your own domain directly from a registrar of your choice, so there are no automated-spend categories to cap right now. If that changes, we will publish the categories and caps here and give active accounts at least 14 days’ notice before a change that would affect routine usage.
Requesting an increase
If you need a higher cap, request an increase from your account dashboard or email billing@agentbuild.it. Include the category, the new cap you need, and a brief explanation. We typically respond within one business day.
How caps interact with subscription fees
Any future spend caps would apply to automated charges incurred by an AI agent on your behalf. They would not apply to your AgentBuild subscription fee or to charges you initiate directly through the dashboard.
What happens when a cap is reached
There are no automated agent purchases today, so no cap can be reached right now. If we ever add automated purchases and an agent attempts one that would exceed your daily or lifetime cap, the API would return an error and the purchase would not occur — no charge would be made, and the agent would receive a structured response with the cap that was hit and instructions for requesting an increase.
See Section 4 of the Customer Terms of Service for the contractual basis of these caps.
